Jon Allison Volk

Jon Allison Volk Born March 22, 1945 in Tacoma and passed away June 30, 2016. Jon had a beautiful voice, loved to sing karaoke and work with leather. He enjoyed playing poker with friends and watching college football. Jon was a skilled mechanic which led him to race and show cars he built from scratch. He owned and ran his own business, Jon's Valve Grinding. Jon graduated from Mt. Tahoma High School in 1963 and was a member of South Tacoma Eagles Aerie #2933 for 35 years. Jon was predeceased by brother Earnest Volk and sister Joyce Lucille Sagehorn. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Susan Volk, sister Velma (William) Walker, brother Robert (Tami) Volk and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. A celebration of Jon's life will be held on July 30th at 12:30 PM at the South Tacoma Eagles located at 7037 South Pine Street - (253-474-1384). A potluck will be shared along with memories of Jon. In lieu of flowers donations to the charity of your choice can be made in Jon's honor.

Jon's humor was contagious.  I'm so glad we were able to once again share laughs together at our 50th reunion.

RIP Jon, and may your family be consoled to know that you were a really nice guy !!
