PATRICIA LEE

Patricia Ann (Schisler) Lee "Patty" "Patsy" Lee, 68, passed away July 18th amongst the peaceful surroundings of her Rocky Bay home on Key Peninsula where she lived the last 25 years. She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Larry-Paul Lee, son PatRick Neil Searles (Rayann), brother Delbert Ray Schisler (Barbara), and a sister, Michelle Schisler, who Patty never found after 30 years of searching. She also leaves behind many cousins, especially Kathy Landree, who like a sister, grew up doing everything with her. Her extended family by marriage is huge, over 125 at last count, which includes a boat load of sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, and friends that truly embraced Patty throughout her life with their love and affection. Patty was born September 3, 1945 in Abington, PA to Florence and Grandon Schisler. She was raised in Tacoma, attending Manitou Elementary, Gray Middle, and graduating from Mt. Tahoma High School in 1963, then went on to graduate from Bates Technical College in 1964, becoming a dental assistant. In 1971 she changed careers and became a union retail clerk, working 12 years at the Food King Hill Top store before she retired to be a housewife. Patty volunteered forty years giving of her time and energy to Mary Bridge Children's Hospital through the Maude S. Piper Guild along with her many Guild Sisters. Patty had a radiant soul that shone through her smile; she made friends easily, being a selfless person who put the needs of others ahead of her own. She was a gem. Informal graveside services will be held at Mountain View Cemetery at 11:30AM on Saturday the 26th, with reception to follow. All are welcome, but the price of admission is for you to share an experience you had with Patty; come and celebrate her life with family, friends, and help us place her soul at rest.
